From individual 1:1 online coaching to make-up parties with friends: The new NUYA platform stands for personal advice from experienced make-up artists – online and offline – and the love of decorative cosmetics. Products from the brands essence, CATRICE and L.O.V are used exclusively. In order to make a long-term social contribution, NUYA invests its profts to train women as make-up artists.
First-hand professional tips in a familiar atmosphere: NUYA is now offering a service that goes beyond the often turbulent beauty counters in perfumeries and department stores. Via the online
platform founded by cosnova, beauty fans receive individually and personally tailored advice in an environment where fun and a relaxed atmosphere are guaranteed. No matter whether during an
individual coaching via video chat or at a make-up party at home – the make-up artists respond to individual make-up questions and needs. Only products from the cosnova brands essence, CATRICE and L.O.V are used. The consumers can try the products out to their heart‘s content and let a professional make-up artist apply them to create their desired look.
“NUYA is a great opportunity for me to get in touch with beauty enthusiasts – whether newbie or already advanced – personally and in a relaxed atmosphere, to reveal my beauty secrets, tips and -haves. The fact that NUYA is a social business also makes me proud: This way, I can contribute to giving more women the possibility to train as make-up artists,” states Maria Peschel, make-up artist for NUYA
NUYA will initially launch its services in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich: within a radius of 50 kilometers of these locations, beauty fans can now enjoy the benefits of make-up parties. With a maximum of 10 participants per party, around 2 hours are spent trying out new looks, carrying out individual image consulting sessions and discovering new products together – guided by a professional. The event and workshop format can be booked for any occasion, such as a birthday, bachelorette party, wedding preparation or girls‘ evening. NUYA offers a special make-up party for teenagers to meet the needs of young participants: Teenagers get a lot of inspiration on YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok and co. but the make-up application at home in front of their own make-up mirror can be a real challenge! So it’s all the better if a professional is on the spot for two hours to provide beauty fun and practical tricks: this lends confidence – even, but not only, when working with foundation brushes, eyeshadow palettes and co. The make-up party for teenagers can also be tailored to personal requirements, for example in preparation for the senior prom or a 16th birthday party. It also makes a great gift for parents and relatives, as it is guaranteed to be met with more enthusiasm than a coffee break with the family … All make-up parties are available at a price of 200 Euros each. If you like the products used, you can purchase them in the online shops of essence, CATRICE and L.O.V or in the drugstore.
If you miss the „translation“ for your own face on YouTube tutorials, have little time or are looking for THE look for a special occasion, 1:1 coaching offers a professional, virtual make-up consultation. The possibilities and topics for individual consulting via video chat are as diverse as cosnova‘s product portfolio, which is close at hand to provide just the right
beauty solutions. The 1:1 coaching is available as a 20-, 30- or 45-minute session and costs between 20 and 40 Euros, depending on the time required. Those interested can book and pay for their
desired service directly on www.nuya.eu. Depending upon availability, there is a choice of several professionals per offer; based on the profiles, the right coach can be found quickly and easily.
Helping people feel more beautiful is not NUYA‘s only ambition – the social business is also committed to equal rights for women and supports them in leading a self-determined life. Profits from the services offered benefit the make-up artist training of socially disadvantaged women. In addition, the make-up artists themselves waive part of their fee.
„cosnova has been supporting various initiatives and support programs for women for many years. Creating our own social business model was the next logical step for us and a heartfelt desire. So we are all the more pleased to have found the right partners for this project, who not only share their passion for make-up, but are also willing to give something to the next generation of their guild,“ says Astrid Haury, Senior Manager Corporate Responsibility at cosnova and co-founder of the platform NUYA.
