Yvonne Wutzler, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Thorsten Mühl, Chief Digital Marketing & Experience Officer at cosnova, were voted among the top 10 best marketing managers in Germany in the “CMO of the Year” awards. The award recognizes marketing executives for brand success, high innovative strength and entrepreneurial courage. “We are incredibly proud that our brands essence and Catrice are capturing the hearts of our target groups as true love brands. We succeed because we put consumers at the center and navigate the big trends: Affordability, unforgettable experiences, inclusion, diversity, transparency and sustainability. Brands must not only fulfill needs, but also inspire and remain authentic,” says Yvonne Wutzler. Thorsten Mühl adds: “Our courage to break new ground is unbroken. With our “TikTok and Social Entertainment First” strategy and strong content focus, we have become one of the world's leading beauty brands in the social sector. We have our eye on new communities and are therefore working intensively with platforms such as Roblox and Twitch. Knowing that marketing is becoming increasingly technology-intensive, we try to combine creativity with tech, as you can see from our GenAI strategy. Staying on top of this is and remains our common goal!” The nominees will be selected for the eleventh time by a jury consisting of marketing decision-makers from the CMO of the Year Council. An expert jury from HORIZONT magazine will then decide on the top 10 Chief Marketing Officers of the Year. The final jury consists of marketing and media experts and marketing managers from various companies. The prize will be awarded on October 15, 2024, in Munich.

cosnova Beauty wins with consumers in the pandemic year of 2020. cosnova Beauty looks back on a strong performance despite a challenging Corona year for the decorative cosmetics industry: the essence and CATRICE brands showed significantly higher sales compared to the cosmetics market, gaining 4.5 % (December 2019 vs. December 2020) in further share on the German market alone. In the second half of 2020, these were at record levels of 40 % in Germany overall (source: Nielsen, in unit sales).
